‘Tikait met Mamata only for the success of farmers’ movement’
Tejal Gyan Chandigarh:
Prominent Sikh farmer leader, National Delegate of All India Jatt Mahasabha and President of Chandigarh State Unit S. Rajinder Singh Badheri has said that ‘Brave General’ Rakesh Tikait has met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the betterment of farmers. It is wrong to oppose this meeting. Mr. Tikait has met not for any personal work but for the success of the peasant struggle. S. Badheri said that the farmers’ agitation would continue till the repeal of the three controversial agriculture laws.
S. Badheri also echoed Rakesh Tikait’s statement that just as the people of West Bengal did not vote for the BJP in the Assembly elections, so should the people of Uttar Pradesh now oust the BJP.
Badheri said that the BJP was sinking into its own pit due to its own misguided policy. Now the people of the country are beginning to understand the divisive and communal tactics of this party. That is why it is now very difficult for him to return to power.
Badheri also said that in fact, the BJP has enough seats in Parliament at the moment and its leaders think that by the time the country holds another general election in 2024, the people will have forgotten everything. That is why they are now sitting indifferently.
Farmer leader Rajinder Singh Badheri said that we should not forget the statement of former Supreme Court Judge Markandey Katju that “before the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in 2022 next year, a communal riot may be occurred by BJP and RSS in the country.” So that the same benefits can be reaped as they did during the Pulwama attack and the Balakot surgical strike in the 2019 general elections.
