‘Cancel of appointments of children of MLAs made under ‘Save Chair Campaign’

Prominent Sikh farmer leader, National Delegate of All India Jatt Mahasabha and President of the Chandigarh unit of the Mahasabha, Sh. Rajinder Singh Badheri has strongly opposed the appointment of children of MLAs in Punjab under the ‘Save Chair’ campaign. The farmer leader said that such appointments should be cancelled immediately. He appealed to the Chief Minister to launch a campaign to provide Government jobs to the poor farmers and the children of the economically backward classes.

Mr. Rajinder Singh Badheri today for the first time appeared in a scathing mood against Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh. He said that ever since the Captain took over as Chief Minister on March 16, 2017, the general public as well as the office bearers and activists of the All India Jatt Mahasabha have been seeking time to meet him. But the Chief Minister never spared time for them.

Mr. Badheri further said that it was Capt. Amarinder Singh who did not want to meet those people today who had taken him out of isolation like retirement in June 2013 and allowed him to enter Punjab. Addressing the Captain, Sh. Badheri also said, “You have not attended any of the Jatt Mahasabha programs since September 30, 2015. Ever since you became the President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee on November 26, 2015 with the support of the Jatt Mahasabha, you have stopped even naming the Jatt Mahasabha”.

Sh. Badheri advised the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh that if he did not connect deeply with the roots of Punjab i.e. with the common man, further success would be difficult to achieve.
