Tejal Gyan Chandigarh, July 18:
Rajinder Singh Badheri, a passionate Sikh and eminent farmer leader, issued a press statement saying that elections have been held for the 16th President of India today. Meanwhile, a big news related to the politics of Punjab has come out that Manpreet Singh Ayali, MLA from Shiromani Akali’s assembly constituency Dakha, has informed by tweeting that he will not participate in the presidential election. Along with this, he has also expressed displeasure with his party. The Shiromani Akali Dal has declared Draupadi Murmu, the candidate declared by the BJP and its allies as its candidate for the post of President. Badheri praised the move of leader Manpreet Singh Ayali . This move has dealt a major blow to the Badal family, as the Badal family has always ignored the interests of Shiromani Akali Dal for their personal interests. Today, Sardar Manpreet Singh Ayali has raised his voice and shown the mirror to the Badals that not all leaders are dead conscience. Badheri has appealed to the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Harpreet Singh, to honor the courageous Jarnail Sardar Ayali of Malwa and confer upon him the title of Fakhar-e-Qaum and before this action by withdrawing the honor of Fakhar-e-Qaum given to Parkash Singh Badal by the former Jathedar Gurbachan Singh, play the role of Akali Phoola Singh. Badheri also requested Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee, that the committee should also honor Sardar Manpreet Singh Ayali so that the whole Sikh world understands that the political base of Badal is over, now Badals should remove control over Sikh institutions. The movement has moved forward which will clear the Badals by becoming a storm. It is important to mention here that 19 years ago on July 19, 2003, this movement was started in Jalandhar under the leadership of Baba Sarabjot Singh Bedi in the name of Akali Dal-1920, when Sardar Ravi Inder Singh played a major role. In that big gatheringin Jathedar Jagdev Singh Talwandi, Jathedar Darshan Singh Isapur, Bhai Bir Singh Mithapur Jalandhar, Jathedar Mall Singh Ghuman, Sardar Baldev Singh Khiala, former Jathedar Shri Akal Takht Sahib Bhai Jasbir Singh Rode, a large number of Akali leaders of that time and about twenty thousand Akali Dal workers participated in it. Many of those leaders were bought by the Badals, who used to roam around to sell. Badheri said that now Taksali Akalis have woken up and are able to fight emotionally to make Badals sit in the house, Because now the BJP has also made up its mind to wash out the Badals.
