Prominent Sikh farmer leader National Delegate and State President, All India Jatt Maha Sabha Chandigarh Rajinder Singh Badheri has strongly criticized the unfortunate incident in Lakhimpur Khiri district of Uttar Pradesh in which the son of a Union Minister allegedly drove over the agitating farmers, who were peacefully protesting against the three black agricultural laws. Nine people, including four farmers, were killed and eight others injured in the accident.
Badheri further said that this painful and inhuman act should be strongly condemned by all. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should take stern action against those responsible for the accident so that justice could be served to the families of the victims.
Farmer leader Rajinder Singh Badheri also said that now UP government has sealed Lakhimpur Kheri district and implemented section 144. No Punjabi farmer or anyone else is being allowed to go there. At night, Priyanka Gandhi was barred from going to Lakhimpur. Akhilesh Yadav has now been taken into custody. Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Shri. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa was not even allowed to land his plane at Lucknow Airport. This is a total dictatorship. All Indians will never tolerate such harassment of farmers by the BJP government. That BJP Govt. should instantaneously be dissolved.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi should take notice of this unfortunate incident and take immediate action to remove the said Minister from the Union Cabinet.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family members, relatives and friends, Badheri prayed to Waheguru to grant the affected farmer families and to give the strength to bear this unfulfilled loss in this hour of grief and to grant eternal peace to the departed souls.
